Your Neighbors are Calling. Will You Help?
The families we serve are good working families that have little or nothing left after they pay their rent and utilities. Most of our families have young children that will go without ample meals daily without help.
Please choose a way to help make a difference
Every donation supports our mission.
Alternatively, checks can be mailed to:
Black Rock Food Pantry
2676 Fairfield Ave
Bridgeport, CT 06605
Place cereals, paper goods, canned goods, and other non perishables in a bag.
Drop these items off at the food pantry (see map and address below) on Saturday mornings, from 9am-12pm.
Or email us to arrange for a donation pick up.
Help us spread the word!
Share this website with friends, family, and colleagues who want to make a difference in our community. Encourage loved ones to join you in collecting items for donation.
Encourage anyone you know that can use some help to stop by the food pantry on Saturday mornings to get groceries for the week. With the tough economic times we face today many people can use your help.
Most important of all please continue to pray for one another
that God may ease the burden of our struggles in difficult times.
Can I Volunteer?
Absolutely! Contact Sheila Dunn at SDunn@fairfield.edu to learn about volunteer opportunities.
Thank you for helping us help our neighbors.
Note: Since we have limited storage capacity, we do not routinely or as a matter of course take clothing donations. However, from time to time we have provided clothing assistance to our clients. Contact us if you have a special situation or stay in touch with our site for notice of special programs. Thank you for your support of BRFP.
